Lily of the Valley

Just after the rain, I took the trash out.  There was a wonderful scent in the air.  A scent of rain and a thick heady flower blooming. 

The Lily of the Valley is blooming.  It is heavenly.

    White coral bells upon a slender stalk, Lilies of the Valley deck my garden walk. Oh how I wish that I could hear them ring, that would only happen when the fairies sing!
